Are kiteboarding lessons available on island?

Yes, there are two options. Big Blue Unlimited offers lessons, and kiteboarding safaris with a certified instructor, and

KiteProvo offers instruction.

Can I buy kite equipment on island?

Yes. Naish, Cabrinha, F-One, Mystic, Oakley, Rip Curl, Roxy, Billabong, Quicksilver, NPX, Reef, DaKine, and O'Neill are all sold at

Blue surf shop located in the Salt Mills, Providenciales. They are the island's premier surf shop.

Can I rent kiteboarding equipment on island?

Yes, and no. KiteProvo, a local school rents equipment but it's not always available. Check their site for availability.

What's the weather like? - check WindGuru

The TCI is hot year round. No need for a wetsuit. Our summer is between June and November. During August, September, and October there's very little wind. It starts to pick up in the middle of November and usually blows until July. June and July are normally the two most consistent months of the year.

Our normal wind conditions are between 14 and 25 knots. We do get storms of 25-35 knots, but not very often.
