Windvibes 2007 was the first ever kiteboarding event in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Held Sunday January 21 2007 at the Children's Park in the Bight, it saw a crowd of 100+ people. It was deemed a success and is definitely coming back next year.

There were mainly two competitions; The Kitercross Races, and the Free Style for the rest of the afternoon.

There were six Kitercross races, the score are listed below.
The first race was Nick Cook and Marc Keyser with Marc Keyser wining.
The second was Mike Haas and Andy Thomas with Mike Haas wining.
The forth was Terri Tapper and Hope Le Vin, with Hope Le Vin wining.
The fifth was Marc Keyser and Hope Le Vin with Hope wining.
The sixth and final race was Mike Haas and Hope Le Vin with Mike Haas wining.

At the end of the day, Mike Haas of Kite Provo was crowned the winner of Windvibes 2007, with Hope Le Vin coming in second and Marc Keyser third.

Mike Rosati of Abuv-It-All watersports (aka Windsurfing Provo) was the judge and took care of putting out the floats and Master of Ceremonies.

Originally, Paul Menta of the KiteHouse was going to be coming down to be the judge, but do to a faulty passport was unable to come. Mike Rosati was very kind to take his place, and a huge thanks goes out to him.
